The Importance of Cooperative Learning in Schools

I think that's really important because when parents start to look into what's being taught in their schools if there is material that they find questionable they could get very very angry especially if they see that their own child has been confused and I think there may be a tendency for some parents to kind of come in guns blazing. If you set up an adversarial relationship with the school you're gonna have a very hard time working cooperatively or even getting them to change the curricula or see your perspective. We have to be mindful about this rhetoric that I see sometimes which is like schools are indoctrinating kids, she says.
