I'm a Percussionist and I've Always Been a Percussionist
I'm a product of my public school music program because in high school, I got to spend a lot of time with fantastic music teachers and peers who were really enthusiastic about the music. And then you can kind of start working in the real world a little bit by playing in bands that played events and do a bunch of covers and dance music and party music. So I got into that as well. But then I started working for an organization here called North Shore Celtic Ensemble. It's basically a violin school program that runs youth groups of kids who play music and actually tours them around. He worked his way through that organization starting just as a bass player and he became the general manager most recently
