The Importance of Instincts

God would never have given us this particular instinct unless he intended it to be used. We have a hunting instinct, but we are not to use it at all times and under all circumstances. One may not, for example, hunt down mothers in law. Just as dirt is matter in the wrong place, so lust is the sex instinct in the right place.
