British Music: A Panoramic Survey
This year's shortlist feels emblematic of a very London centric look at what is happening. I think British music as a whole is pretty off the boil and it would be interesting to see whether these albums resonate around the world rather than just locally. There was just one name I recognised here and it wasn't Jockstrap. It was the Arctic monkeys.
