The Relationship Between Art and a Poet

Hill: One's responsibilities as a, as a individual citizen are to engage complexly with democratic politics. I think that sort of studiously avoiding mindless partisanship is the individual's responsibility. With me, nothing is momentous. Obscure youth, glorious old age, fateful coincidences, nothing really matters. But nevertheless, Hill wants to say that art and a poet, even a difficult poet is, has this sort of relationship and responsibility to within these kind of questions of a democratic politics.
