The main argument of the text really is the task of defining justice. And then it does have utopian ambitions, and that it may be at variance with our modern ideas. I think we've laid out sort of the pretext for Socrates's argument to rebuke Thrasymachus' notion that justice is not rewarded with success. That is nevertheless framed within an ethical text.
