The Boogie Man: A Studio Horror Movie
The Boogie Man is such a kind of ubiquitous character. Everyone's got their own interpretation of him and I wanted to leave as much space for that as possible. People are going to expect this family to show down against the creature at the end. So we're going to see him eventually. But I wanted to make sure that I was leaving a lot for the audience's imagination. And it's funny you mentioned Jaws. We've actually got a second less of screen time of the Boogie Man than the shark in Jaws and a second and a half less than the alien in Alien because those, you know, they're two of the best horror movies ever made."
