Self-compassion is the ability to look at yourself and see your own motives. It's also a way of recognising that you are doing what you need to do in order to get things done. Self compassion can be learnt from other people, as well as being compassionate to yourself. The final self compassion step is when we apologise for our actions or words. We then learn something about ourselves through this process. This week’s episode airs on Channel 4 tonight at 9pm.
Are there people in your life who create unhealthy friction for you? Are there people who raise your blood pressure even if they just cross your mind? Would you believe me if I told you that you can reverse this effect? Luckily, you can. By the end of this episode, my guest, Dr. Rangan Chatterjee, and I will teach you not only how to handle interactions with people like this, but also how they can actually help you create a happier, more meaningful life.
