The Earth Shuffle

The earth will eventually cool, right? This depends on the earth maintaining its temperature. We're radiating more heat out into space than is being generated by those decays. So they think like in about a billion and a half years, the temperature of the mantle won't be high enough anymore for this kind of flow. And we think the plate tectonics will cease. Whatever we look like then is how we're going to look until the end of time,. At least until the sun eats us up.
