The Legacy of Mia Miskia

Aizus Miskia was found guilty of Mia's murder in 2004 and sentenced to 30 years imprisonment. He would eventually pass away in a Washington State hospital on January 21st of 2021, at the age of 66 year old. Mia, on the other hand, is interred at the Cave Hill Cemetery in her adopted hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Her grave is still frequented by fans of the Gits as well as those touched by her wider legacy.
