I feel like part of what I ran into was a Eurocentric academic understanding of music as sound and therefore an inability maybe to even leave room for disability studies understandings of how we hear. You don't only hear with your ears it is not from it is not simply sonic it's simply it's just not. And that happens a lot in polygon for you know the specific steps that you are doing. It can be reminiscent of a particular musical genre, so performing a certain kind of step or a dance can be reminiscent of those genres.
