The Self Righteous Indignation That Drives Me Crazy
There are two issues that I have one. It goes back to self righteous indignation. And the second one is a dubious interpretation of what you get. So we should never ever take the critical ratio and divide by the standard error. What we should do instead is add and subtract two times the standard error, which functionally is a sample confidence interval. That's why I don't always like confidence intervals.
