The History of Oslo
Oslo was founded by King Harold Hardrada in the 11th century. But there were settlements and groups of people in the Oslo fjord at that time. Archaeologists found a very, very small handful of apparently Christian burials near St Clements church. The stone ruins of the churches are later, I think they're 12th century or so.
