Even worse, there's this tendency of HP printers to act as Wi-Fi hotspots and I think is truly unnecessary and evil behavior. There's more to come out on this story, but I think it's interesting that yet another major company has got basically a shared code base,. in the firmware of a wide range of their devices from smallest printers up to office-sized industrial printers. And got the same vulnerability which tells you quite a lot about their coding
