Dragon Ball Z - One Punch Man
Dragon Ball Z is basically one punch man where the conflict is always mortal peril. In one punch man what he really wants his magic can't give him. And that's part of making it matter to your story. Just because you have the power to punch through a son doesn't make dating any easier. So if you're telling a story that focuses on relationship it doesn't matter if you can punched through a son. That can probably make things way more complicated.
