i read about this a bit in a book i wrode a couple of years ago, of this um drive for homogeneity in the world. In fact, it's much more than political. It's mainly a social, you know, thats a, there is a reason that so much of our a public discourse right now is a sort of knock down, drag out, baryknuckle fights over things that really amount to etiquette. The presence of heterogeneity makes a certain kind of person, i think, really anxious. And they feel threatened about their status and a and the status of the society and the social group in which they live.
