Practice Techniques Are Awesome
When I was preparing for the Adams Chamber Symphony, I could not from this thing. So my son who really influences me a lot in his practice journey said, look, yeah, why didn't you copy it and cut the little phrases that you're having difficulty with? And he said, now I understand what you were doing all the time because he could never figure out from my practice habits how I could learn all that stuff. It was so different than how we used to practice in the old days is just not realistic.
