The Disidentification of the State
A refrain throughout the books chapters is this idea of disidentification yeah which is this rejection of internalized hierarchies. It's also similar in a way to the way Fred Moten, Stefano, Harney and the Undercomans try to think about like using and stealing from the university so it's like playing with the power structures while opposing them without imagining some kind of pure outside and not identifying fully with the inside. I read it as critique of what you get stuck in if you're just like really Foucauldian according to her. We can't just leave capitalism in the state for many reasons one is that unless we have like a lot of wealth we need food to live
