The first time he met Schenade was Steven's day of 19. It must have been 79 because the Pope had just come and just arrived. The O'Connor family, so Joe, Eamer, Schenade and John turned up. They were bonded at the hip by this evangelical Catholicism. And my aunties used to have every Stevens' Day, a party,. non-alcoholic, very, very, like it was a party with no booze, which is very unlike us. But anyway, let's come back to that. So we're talking about the mid-1970s, the late 1970s. This charismatic movement was centered in Bray where my aunties lived.
