The Risk-Inverses of Investing

I don't foresee my wife and I ever having a credit card or opening any type of loan ever again. That's something dramatically changes. So that kind of changes how we go about purchasing bigger items. It makes us actually think, do we really need it or do we want it? We're okay with risk now because worst case scenario, if we were to make a bad decision and lose that part of an investment, our lives when it changes.
