The volume of urine that you make is going to be dependent on the amount of solute in your diet. Solute intake plays a huge role and I think that's underappreciated. The classic story for kids with congenital, nephrogenic DI's has been dominated by carbohydrates because carbohydrates have decreased solute. And so these patients have benefit from that.
