Radio, You Know?

When radio first came in in the 19 twenties, people did have radio stations. And i discovered when iwas riding my book about cairo, that cairo had like 500 radio stations. So there's always this kind of exuberance and explosion at the beginning of something that then eventually gets amalgamated. But as we can see, as you say, the fragmentation now means that you're not quite sure what if you're dealing with the same cultural baggage as other people. It can be difficult having a lack of commonality.
