I loved, you know, it's no secret. I loved the next generation for their, among other things, for their production design. They had a bar that was a huge upgrade over the original Star Trek. It was like the sci-fi version of like the apartment on Friends. You wanted to be there every week. That's something that is absolutely absent from science fiction today. All across the board,. everything is grim and dark and it looks like you're on a submarine and it's cool to look at. But it's just doesn't, it's not a place that you want to live in.
