The Story of Millie Vanilly

Millie Vanilly was kind of a little I guess around that same time and they did a performance in June of 89 where they had a song called Girl You Know is True. The tape playback machine got stuck and the guy who was lip syncing this part ran off stage and a conversation got started about lip-syncing and pop music. Millie Vanilly tried to release a record with Frank Farrion but no one bought it because someone else didn't get it. They won three American Awards they won Best New Artist at the Grammys which is like this big-time award so if you look for the best new artist there's only two or three people left standing.
