A 36-year-old woman named Ashley Baba was fatally shot by a Capitol police officer on the other side. The forces that brought Ashley Baba to that moment are the same forces that pushed the far-right into the mainstream in America. After the January 6 insurrection, more than 800 people were charged for entering the U.S. Capitol. More than 30 members of far-right groups were charged with conspiracy.
