I would say that we always had problems and sort of hover bottles in terms of prioritization and kind of decision making process. Later I worked in a different big company and the PMs were much more user centered there. In my latest company, which is a smaller size at this point, we only have around up to 30 people in the team. Now we have a 1 PM per product. We are using the product trio principle where you have the product manager, you have the designer, and then you have a tech lead.
