The Universal Foundation of Quality Measures
Dr. Duttag Jacobs and Dr. Michelle Schreiber recently published a paper in the New England Journal of Medicine about aligning quality measurements. They talk about what they call a universal foundation of quality measures that go across different programs in our healthcare system. We think that this idea of the universal foundation can really promote high quality care, reduce provider burden, and achieve a lot of the other goals that we have as part of our national quality strategy.
