VIX indexes the index on S&P options. It is at about a 26-month low right now trading right around 90. So VIX options are about as cheap as they've been in the last two and a half years. When we see VIX starts to tick up, even as volatility is dropping, that is usually a sign to start looking at getting long-vault.
