The Number of Programmers That Are Writing Game Engines Is a Smaller Number Than the People That Were Writing System Software
i think we're going to get back to an era where people are looking at what the actual artifact is as generated how that actually runs on the metal. i am relatively vocal about these things lately and whenever i say stuff especially somewhere like twitter or whatever but but even in other venues i get a mixture of people telling me i'm wrong right about whatever.
