How Trusting Is It to Invest in Fixed Index and Annuities?

How trusting is it to invest in fixed index and annuities in this environment? I've never met an annuity that i liked. Will it get better? It could definitely get but you know, the chances that the prices go lower improve. Can you please give us your insight into why iris is buying so much amo?
