i was falling back to old school, less gentle parenting because my skill set was affected by the level of anxiety i was experiencing. I love my kid to death, and i just want him to feel supported and loved and cared for so that he can navigate the challenges that he is having to navigate. But we can reset with our kids when that happens, if we're just willing to be open and honest and maybe a little bit vulnerable in that regard.
