The Antarctic Treaty and the Outer Space Treaty

The Antarctic Treaty was drafted in 1958 and ratified the following year. The UN committee on space research co-spart is still out there today. In 1963 we started having new nations starting to look at nuclear weapons. And that was the year that they came up with the limited test ban treaty which basically said they'll shalt not test nuclear weapons in the air in the ocean or in outer space.
