Victor Shaw: I want to have a single set of manifests with minimal variations that I can run locally and in production. And we do use Docker compose right now as the base application definition. But where we're going is we want to take other application definitions and we take that and we generate raw Kubernetes manifest. He says, "It's just another abstraction layer on top of another abstraction layer" Victor Shaw: The long term idea is you have one place for everything and then you get all this other baked-in experience.
