Norman started as an editor working in the industry as an assistant editor on the Oscar-nominated films TENDER MERCIES and PLACES IN THE HEART. After editing the pilot episode of THE OC in 2003, he began his directing career by helming six episodes of that series. He has gone on to direct over 100 episodes of television since then including, NCIS: HAWAII, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, THE PERFECTIONISTS, QUANTICO, CHUCK, GOSSIP GIRL now He is co-executive producer/producing director on the Netflix show SWEET MAGNOLIAS.
