Canada has an ap called arive can that we use for this, as well as random testing. The government conceived of this new ap really to try to save time for travellers so they could send their vaccination status and other quarantine information before they even got to canada. So the concept behind it was actually a good one. It was built as a time saver. But some infectious diseases physicians have come out and say that this ap no longer provides the data that helps a canada manage the pendemic. And customs officers are having to serve, as i t help, desks just to help these travellers complete the information.
