The Horses Are Taking Us to Death

Horses heads are toward eternity. That's where those gorgeous creatures are going. Clip, clip, clop they're taking you there. They won't be stopping for food or drink. In the context of this poem, they'll take us to death. We'll swing by all of life, from cradle to grave,. morning to night, recess to rest and everything in between. And this is how time works, because this is how the universe works. The constant movement forward and the constant ending, all of us, ending, ending from the moment we begin.
