The Importance of Baby Nappies in Japan

Japanese nappies are seen as being very high-quality, more expensive than other nappies produced in Asia. After the Fukushima earthquake, South Korean mothers did some panic buying and bought out all the Japanese nappies they could find on the internet at this time. While we don't have specific data to back this up, the relatively small number of newborns to two-year-old children in Japan, 2.5 million according to Sarah Parsons, makes it pretty likely.
