The Origins of Hitler's Geopolitics
Hitler came to power in 1933 with a range of intellectual influences that shaped his view of the future racial state and expansionist policy. He borrowed extensively from social Darwinist biopolitical paradigms to underpin not only his view of German race as bearer of culture, but also his visceral anti-Semitism. Hitler represented a lethal combination of political geography and racial prejudice, rasa und rame, that would later underpin the effort to conquer Eurasia and to exterminate the Jews.
