I think that using science, a new Chinese based PRC science to combat Japanese Imperial science. It's a very interesting sort of case study and a site for exploring these different ways of going. The knowledge built through labor is perhaps the kind of apogee of embodied embodied knowledge which forms the broadest base of what it means to know a place. So there could have been a different way you know I could have traced a labor history back to say the quasi serfs who work who worked on Qing, manorial farms back going into the 1600s.
