Is Discounting a Macro Economic Form of Decision Making?
Frank ramsey: Discounting is a macro economic form of the kind of decisions that we all make, money now later. And it seems to me that discounting in public policy all to do with decisions about the future. He says if you don't care at all about the future, then you'll behave exactly as would benefit you. But nordhouse's a discount rate is higher - he values the future more than some others. frank ramsey: i think one of the defences against morality has not been fully realised. We should be able to look across time and see what our moral code really stands for.
