Searching Ukrainian Art That Was Stolen
Simon: Francis, thank you for your time today. We've reported on instances of Russian looting of art in recent months. I just wonder whether you've got any more insights and updates on that. Francis: Ministry of Culture now is creating this working group for Searching Ukrainian Art that was stolen. Many Ukrainian museums were occupied, in the occupied territories as Crimea or Donetsk and Luhansk. They took some works during the Soviet times and never returned.
