I feel very lucky that I was, just by chance, able to finish the script before we went into this crazy time of the pandemic. All these aspects of the film are very close to my own experience indeed. Did you think too soon at all? No, I thought if I don't write it right now, I will never do it. I will not find the courage to go back to those painful memories. Some storytellers might have been tempted to wait five years, 10 years, before they went back and revisited this story.
