In terms of what our society is telling young women, I think the actual data are that sexual frequency number of sexual partners and age of loss of virginity are all moving in an asexual direction. The people that like these ideas tend to be people that can't imagine that they might be guilty of the very thing that they're talking about. So there's more sex that's happening in the context of hookups, things that people meet through apps.
