CHAPTER

Is There a Difference Between Physically Trapped, Anatomically Caught or Medically Traced?

Of all these injured people, very, very few of them will have spinal cord injuries. And actually what they tend to be dying from is head injuries, chest injuries, abdominal injuries and then pelvic injuries as well. So i can't tell you that i suspect being physically trapped is associated with more significant injuries than being medically trapped. I think the other really interesting findings is the really low rate of unstable spinal injury, or spinal cord injury,. With spinal cord injury making just zero point seven % of the patient population.
