The Invention of the Post-It Note
The person who invented the Post-it note was Pankord Arthur Fry, who was just daydreaming during a dual sermon at his church service in 1973. His disengaged mind roaming the unconscious for connections, but still possessed of a sufficient self-awareness to pull a good idea up from the depths. He was just kind of not trying to invent the Post-It note or invent anything. And I think that's right. There has to be something else that you're focusing on that sort of means that this idea can somehow kind of sneak in at the back door.
