The Ghost Wolf in Japan

Feral dogs are rare in Japan. I think I've only seen them once on the island of Ishigaki. It was like a creature that looked like a dog, but wasn't. Given how close it was to Fukui castle or Fukui Prefecture, not outside the realms of possibility. There's so many forests and so many untouched areas where the ghost wolf could live.
