The Afro-Aceatic Grammar

There are two genders in the expected Afro-Aceatic pattern, masculine and feminine. You can sort of predict which gender it is going to be in Coptic by the final vowel. Most nouns do not have a separate plural, but there are a few dozens that have separate forms. The majority use some sort of linking morphology that looks an awful lot like the article. Adjectives are basically nouns. There are several attributive constructions to talk about "the little girl" or "the big dog"
