Saudi Arabia's Negative Position on Ukraine
Since Mohammed bin Salman began ascending to power, we've seen Saudi Arabia and Russia collaborate in many different ways. They very much want to continue collaborating with the Russians very closely despite everything that's happened in Ukraine. The Saudis don't think Arab countries have some moral duty to cut off relations with Russia or go all out in terms of supporting Ukraine. In the Gulf region, many officials will talk about the eastward expansion of NATO as having been something that contributed to this.
