Transgrid's Future

My big focus, if I could encapsulate it in three words is get on with it. We've got to build the transmission in order to get the renewables connected. New South Wales is at the centre of the national electricity market. Transgrid is the transmission company for that state. My job here has been all about building trust with our big stakeholders,. be they community groups, governments, consumer groups, regulators. And then finally, we consider compensation and what the regime around that is.
