HPA Antibodies and Incompatibility During Pregnancy
About a third of the cases that come through about a third of them 30 percent we find an antibody and it matches an incompatibility between the parents. Another third we find no antibodies and we used to worry those are the ones we're missing maybe we need to beef up our tests but I think now with the long years of experience we have I think a lot of those are probably not any IT. If you look at the clinical histories we get follow up from the physicians a lot of times. These are things like fetal brain abnormalities that are noticed on ultrasound during the pregnancy and there's probably some other cause for that.
